Today I will be sharing with you how you can actually block your stolen or missed ATM card in simple steps.
While doing these steps you must ensure that you have a registered mobile number that is linked with your bank account. Without any further delay so let's get started...
Block your ATM card online
You can easily block ATM card through online banking just you need to do these steps given below.
Step 1: Open your web browser and search for www.onlinesbi.com
Step 2: After that you must login to your account by providing username and password to it.
Step 3: There you will see "e-Services" click it to block ATM Card.
Step 4: After clicking you should select the option of "ATM card services".
Step 5: Next you have to click on "Block ATM card".
Step 6: After clicking the website it will show the available account numbers, select the respective account number on which the stolen or missed ATM card is registered.
Step 7: After selecting your correct account click "continue".
Step 8: In the next window it will show your available ATM card numbers. Select the one number which you want to block.
Step 9: On the same page it will ask for the reason that why you want to block the ATM card so you need to give reason for that like stolen, missed, etc and click on submit.
Step 10: After that you have to choose the mode of authentication that is by either OTP or by Profile Password. Click anyone.
Step 11: In the next step fill the OTP for the profile password and then press on "confirm". After that you will receive a ticket number by normal message when your ATM card gets blocked. Keep this ticket number for future references it will be useful.
NOTE : Once you made these changes you can't change them again you have to directly go to your branch to do so.
